Kilim Floor Cushion
This large floor cushion was originally a Saddlebag made in Afghanistan. The Saddlebag or "Yastik" was used as a means of transporting baggage & possessions. It was also important for a girl to weave a variety of bags for her dowry, so as a result they are often extremely well woven & finely detailed. Today, old tribal bags are becoming hard to find, but are keenly sought after as Collectors items
This old saddlebag has 3 closed sides and one remains open, perfect for stuffing with padding.

Age-related patina and natural irregularities are characteristic features of our handmade vintage pillows.
These can be sold with or without the inner. Price shown is for the cushion cover only and any filling will incur an additional cost. These look great stuffed with an eco option of used blankets or sheets. They also work well with one or two standard bed pillows or cushion inners. Side will need to be stitched closed as does not have a Zip. We have roughly stitched this using a needle and cotton thread.
