Daria is a vintage Kirman Persian rug. This rug has been expertly handwoven by master weavers in the ancient city of Kirman in Iran. The delicate designs on this region include floral motifs and soft elegant details.
This vintage Kirman rug is estimated to have been woven in the 1970's. During the making process, the rug has been shaved down to a low pile, deep washed and then re-dyed (overdyed) one colour. Overdyed rugs have a low pile height and feature a traditional style with a modern twist. It is now beautifully soft with a neutral beige base and soft pinks, blues and browns.
