Esma is a Turkish prayer rug. A wonderful semi-old Anatolian kilim rug from Kars, Eastern Turkey. Hand-woven using slit-weave technique, and woven in naturally dyed yarn. This kilim is a perfect representation of the earthy colours used in this part of Turkey.
