Rahela is a very striking vintage knotted pile runner which will add colour & warmth to any hallway. Made in the mid 20th Century and is in original condition. This runner has a thick soft pile with bold and beautiful design with flat Kilim weave at each end.
Originating from the Herki people who are of Kurdish descent and their homelands are the mountainous regions of Eastern Turkey, Iran and Iraq. A gorgeous combination of colours showing just how clever these weavers are to create a harmonious runner from so many different combinations of colour. A very beautiful piece.
