Kawkab is an antique Turkish Kilim Rug from the Adana region in Southern Turkey. Finely woven in slit weave technique, it is in excellent condition. It has had some small repairs made to it, but many vintage rugs have and they have been expertly done.
We have had this rug lined with a backing to protect it which cannot be seen when it is lying flat on the floor. A very beautiful piece.
