Pari is a vintage Overdyed rug and comes from the Western Anatolian region of Isparta in Turkey.
These type of rugs were made between 1940 and 1960. They have now been recycled to create a thoroughly unique, modern and colourful floor covering. The pile on these old/new rugs has been pared back, the original dyes neutralized, then the rug over-dyed with a deeply saturated single colour.
Pari is a dark grey (not charcoal) overdyed with a few details of the original vintage rug showing through.
