Tekin is a Turkish overdyed patchwork rug.
This rug has been created from fragments of vintage knotted pile rugs. The pieces of rug are arranged in patchwork style (an art in itself) then stitched together in blanket stitch, using a super strong thread; 50% cotton, 50% non-flammable polyester.
Each rug is then backed with a heavy cotton canvas, making the finished product extremely durable. The standard of workmanship is very high and these pieces lie totally flat.
This is a perfect size entrance rug but would be suitable for many areas of the home.
