Dunia is an Afghani rug from Aqcha, North of Afghanistan. It has been woven in a Soumak weave which is very strong and thick flat weave with a smooth face and rugged back. Very durable and great for high traffic areas. This has been beautifully faded from age and is now a lovely soft raspberry pinky/red with some pops of teal, pink and orange.
