Sabera is a Turkish overdyed patchwork rug.
She has been created from fragments of old knotted pile rugs. Pieces from vintage rugs are arranged in patchwork style (an art in itself) then stitched together in blanket stitch, using a super strong thread; 50% cotton, 50% non-flammable polyester.
Each rug is then backed with a heavy cotton canvas, making the finished product extremely durable. The standard of workmanship is very high and these pieces lie totally flat.
