Zahra is a very striking vintage knotted pile runner which was handwoven in the mid 20th Century and is in original condition. Beautiful lush soft pile for the main section with delicate kilim weave at end bordering end. Excellent condition.
Originating from the Herki people who are of Kurdish descent and their homelands are the mountainous regions of Eastern Turkey, Iran and Iraq.
